Ubbink Garden BV is an FSC® member company, holding chain-of-custody certification under nr CU-COC-820704. As part of our responsible wood purchasing policy, all our products made from various types of wood come from certified forests.
The amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a corporate initiative whose mission is to improve working conditions in global supply chains. Amfori BSCI is governed by a code of conduct based on the principles set out by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Ubbink Garden BV has been an amfori BSCI member company under nr 528-000486-000 since 2022. This means that our subcontractors are also integrated into the BSCI process, and in turn undertake to comply with the BSCI code of conduct and undergo audits.
The amfori BEPI (Business Environment Performance Initiative) is a business initiative whose mission is to create a structured pathway for companies to monitor, manage and ultimately improve their environmental performance in their supply chains. amfori BEPI is based on values established by normative due diligence and environmental frameworks, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Sustainable Business Conduct. Two leading auditing firms, QIMA and Eurofins, support amfori BEPI's environmental auditing capabilities.
